Does anyone know if cypress lake (on eagle mountain) is safe for swimming? I heard there were trout there and I hear that's a good sign for swimming but last i heard of trout was 7 years ago anyways i was thinking of getting a drinking water tester from walmart if I don't hear back so I'll keep you posted

< BR>The waters were quite dark and not particularly inviting for a swim when I visited years ago. However, like others have said it should be safe.

I think the Port Moody Ecological Society are stewards of Cypress Lake, as it feeds their downstream hatchery. You could ask them, though they may frown upon it.
