At Trailpeak ("Trailpeak" or "we"), we are committed to respecting your privacy. We recognize that when you choose to provide us with information about yourself, you trust us to act in a responsible manner. That's why Trailpeak has established this online privacy policy ("Policy") for www.trailpeak.com (www.trailpeak.com or any replacement site, the "Site").

1. Information Gathered By Trailpeak

This Policy applies only to activities Trailpeak engages in on the Site and does not apply to Trailpeak activities that are "offline," unrelated to the Site, or related to any other Trailpeak site. Trailpeak collects certain anonymous data regarding the usage of the Site. This information does not personally identify users, by itself or in combination with other information, and is gathered to improve the performance of the Site. Trailpeak is not responsible for the privacy policies of Web sites to which it links. Please be aware that our sites, including the Site, may contain links to other sites on the Internet that are owned and operated by third-parties. The information practices of those Web sites linked to our site, or the Site, is not covered by this Policy. These other sites may send their own cookies or clear GIFs to users, collect data, or solicit personally identifiable information.


5. Third Party Advertising

Advertisements that appear on the Site are sometimes delivered (or "served") directly to users by third-party advertisers. Such advertisers automatically receive your IP address when this happens. These third-party advertisers may also download cookies to your computer, or use other technologies such as JavaScript and "web beacons" (also known as "1x1 gifs") to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. Trailpeak does not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed by the third-party advertisers. Third party advertisers have no access to your contact information stored on Trailpeak unless you choose to share it with them. This Policy covers the use of cookies by Trailpeak and does not cover the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by any of its advertisers.


6. Security

Trailpeak takes appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security including through various hardware and software methodologies. However, Trailpeak cannot guarantee the security of any information that is disclosed online.


7. Children Under Age 13

Trailpeak does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Children are not permitted to use the Site or services, and Trailpeak requests that children under the age of 13 not submit any personal information to the Site. If you are under 13 years of age, then please do not use or access the Site or services at any time or in any manner. Since information regarding children under the age of 13 is not collected, Trailpeak does not knowingly distribute personal information regarding children under the age of 13.


8. Children Between the Ages of 13 and 18

We recommend that minors over the age of 13 ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themelves to anyone over the Internet.

If you wish to modify or update any information Trailpeak has received, please use the contact button the bottom navigation on each web page.


10. Modifications of the Privacy Policy

Your use of the Site, and any disputes arising from it, is subject to this Privacy Policy as well as our Terms of Use and all of its dispute resolution provisions including arbitration, limitation on damages and choice of law. Trailpeak reserves the rights to modify this Policy at any time and from time to time, and will notify you by posting an amendment to the Policy, or a new Policy, on the Site. Such modifications will become effective on the day they are posted. Trailpeak encourages you to frequently review the Policy for any modifications.
