Mount Arrowsmith (Vancouver Island) question

I want to do some photography of mount Arrowsmith this weekend, and I'm trying to find the best way to get close enough to the mountain while still having a clear line of sight to the mountain, being able to see most of it from bottom to peak.

The issue is that most of the trails and access roads are surrounded by trees, so it's difficult to get a clear view of the entire (or most of) the mountain because of the trees 10 feet in front of you.

Are there any places on any of the access roads, or a short-ish hike (I have lots of gear to carry) when there are not trees obscuring the view of the mountain? Like a clearing of some sort.

I've done a ton of research, and watched about 50 "hiking mt Arrowsmith" youtube videos trying to see where there is a nice clearing, but I couldn't tell from any of the videos. I'm coming all the way from Victoria for a day trip, so I probably won't have a ton of time to explore all the logging roads on both sides of the mountain, and want to make the best of the trip.

My preference would be the saddle side, because I think that's where the most dramatic peaks are, but I'm open to anything. Judges side seems to be dense trees everywhere at the bottom, but it's hard to tell for sure.

Any help or ideas/tips would be super appreciated!
