Regarding trail MacBeth Icefield near Kaslo, BC

Is this the type of place that you have to put wire mesh around your vehicle when you park to stop animals from eating your tires/wires?

I'm not sure if it is an area that needs chicken wire protection. I spent a night at the parking area below the trail head and had no problems, but I may have been lucky. The problem is that porcupines chew your brake lining, so to be on the safe side put chicken wire supported by rocks and sticks around your vehicle if you are staying overnight. You don't have to worry if you are doing just a day trip.
