Hi! Is it possible to do the Devil's Thumb and Plain of the Six Glaciers hike in one day? About how long would it take?

< BR>It is possible to do both in a day (unless you are an inexperienced hiker) but neither would be categorized as difficult. Just a slow steady slope up to the Lake agnes tea house. A few switch backs and a steeper but short last section will get you to the top of Devils thumb.

Watch for signs along the trail bc there is a way to get from the Lake Agnes/Devils thumb trail down to the path going to the Plain of 6 Glaciers without having to go all the way back to the bottom/trailhead. (That would be a waste of time backtracking)

As a side note, ive done both trails multiple times and there have been times in both May and June that getting to the end was not possible due to snow being too deep to continue (Lake Louise is higher altitude so the snow lasts much longer on the trails than even in Banff.)
