Fun buncha trails on the East side of Fernie. Ridgemont is a network with many interconnected trails. Not terribly technical, but really fun, flowey and well built system.
Primarily West facing slope of Fernie Ridge / Elk Forest, North of Coal Creek. Starting at the Fernie Aquatic Center & ride NE. Look for (EcoTerrorist, RIDGEMONT ROAD, KIDS STUFF, SPLITTING BEARS, HESSIAN, DEADFALL, LITTLE CHAINRING BIG TROUBLE, COAL DISCOVERY TRAIL, OLD STUMPY)
Fernie Aquatic Center (park on the street perhaps so you don't fill their lot). Go into downtown Fernie and go East till you hit the tracks, cross the tracks at 4th Street / Ridgemont Drive and you can't miss the Aquatic center.
