The gate was closed when we arrived, just before dusk. So we walked the short distance into the parking area provided. You can hear the roar of the falls on your way in. Keep dogs leashed when you get to the parking area as these falls are steep. Beautiful spot!

Directions:

from Highway 103 take exit 11, then turn right onto route 324 towards Newburne. You will drive past @ churches and a community hall. On the left there will be a sign indicating the falls. Drive down this road until you come to a three way intersection, take the left unless the gate is closed. then park on the right and walk in on the left.

By faerylaughterPosted By: faerylaughter  - Tue Apr 19 15:26:18 UTC 2016 Not Rated Upside Easy and short hike with picnic areas, one is down a wooden stairway on the edge of the water. Quiet and the hike is short, some rough/uneven terrain and slopes a couple of spots lead up to a cliff, so care is needed. Downside Hike is short but woods are easy to explore and navigate. Comment I had my eleven year old and three teens, they enjoyed it and have friends who jump from the cliffs in the summer. The brook is sweet to relax by, and private. My son and I practiced our fly fishing. It was a perfect spring afternoon.
