Though this trail may seem short (1.4 km one way), it is not for the faint hearted! The trail at Teapot Mountain is a steep hike, boasting rocky trails, cliff faces and scenic look-outs of surrounding lakes, including nearby Summit Lake. Upon reaching the top of the mountain, you can walk the perimeter of the peak, a breathtaking view. A word of caution: watch your footing on the way down as it is very steep and there are areas of loose dirt and gravel.
Drive 24km North of Prince George on the John Hart Hwy (Hwy 97) until you reach Talus Road, on the left (pay attention as it is very easy to miss). Follow Talus road until you come to Caine Creek Forest Road on your left. There will be a sign that says Wildlife viewing. Follow this road unti the parking lot.
