Climb the gravel road for about 6km, staying right at forks. Some sections are steep, but it only takes 30-45min to get to where the gravel "road" ends at Flamingo Flats (faded pink flamingo stuck in ground at clearing in forest). Climb the singletrack going up and to the right. After a 4-5 minute climb, it's all downhill to the power station with lots of twisty singletrack and some fast sandy sections. There are many trail options on the way down - much fun to explore and all lead back to the power lines. (10-15km

Directions:

Follow Benvoulin Rd. South and take a left onto Casorso after the bridge. Take a left onto Bedford, which turns into Stewart Road East. Follow Stewart Road East until the pavement ends at a power station. Park and begin riding up the gravel road

Buy a map at local bike shops. it's really well done
By fergy16Posted By: fergy16  - Fri Sep 08 22:20:04 UTC 2006 Not Rated Upside a fun single track with good technical challenges Downside alot of the trails are overgrown where your riding through bush and can barely see the trail Comment good trial to ride if your not sure how much time you have because you can bail out on lots of different trails on the way up

Area is easily accesible Downside I didn't find any problems along my ride other than the piles of horse manure along the way. Comment Overall this is a great area for begginers like myself to advanced. It hosts a picnic area with outhouses and parking stalls. It also has signs along all the trails ( drive past the power station and you will see it)

Downside The trees have been amaciated by the fire in 2003, it looks like a bunch of matchsticks. Comment Love the area to ride, nice rock sections to play on, fun decents. You could easily make 5 or 6 hours of riding up there.
