These are great trails to get out and explore, offering some nice forest and a couple good viewpoints. Trail signs are well posted and there are a number of posted maps on the way. Make sure to try Death Valley Loop as well...in short order you are blessed with a special view of Mt Burns, Junction, Gibralter and the Highwood Range. On a windy day there may be some gusts in open areas, although most of the trails are well treed. Lots of ppl go out here so the trails are usually well broken in.
Drive west of Turner Valley on Hwy 546, all the way to the winter gate. Trailhead is actually a short ways (50m) past the gate on the right. Alternately, pick up Long Prairie Loop behind the Ranger Station about 3 km before the winter gate.
