UpsideEasy to find, easy parking, easy access, amazing views, good incline. DownsideIf you're afraid of heights, or someone in your group is, you may need to turn back at "the chainsâ??. CommentGo knowing that there are many places you can stop, rest, or turn around. There are many destinations on this mountain and you can quite easily go back the way you came.
There's a moment that will be challenging for some hikers -- those afraid of heights or with less climbing experience -- at "the chains". The chains involve walking on a narrow ledge while holding onto chains. It's either fine, scary, or terrifying -- so keep that in mind if you're headed up with a group -- everyone could experience this differently.
After the chains it continues to be challenging. Scree ski down in about 45 minutes.
