The Eagle River Nature Park is managed by the Shuswap Trail Alliance (http://shuswaptrails.com/trails.php?area=0&id=29).

There are a series of loop trails along the river which wind through a forest of old growth cedar and hemlock. There are board walks, bridges and very nice signage. The shortest loop is 1.2 km and the longest 1.9. The trails connect to the campground. The embankment down to the river can be quite steep in some areas so be careful with small children and dogs.

Directions:

13 km east of Sicamous on Highway 1 towards Malakwa where it is four lane, turn North onto the frontage road (there is a sign for cross country skiing) and follow the signs.
