Jeddah Point and the nearby islands are an easy paddle and the length depends on the area you wish to explore. Wildlife consists of many seals, blue herons, king fishers, and there is a colony of cormorants on one of the larger islands. There are beautiful views and it makes a great evening paddle.
Follow highway 101 on the Sunshine Coast. (North from Gibsons, south form Earl's Cove). There will be signs indicating a turn off in Halfmoon Bay for Smuggler Cove Provincial Marine Park. Follow the turn off, which is Brooks Road, to the end where you arrive at a small bay. Once in your kayak or canoe, you paddle out and to the right. From there you can paddle to any of the numerous islands.
