Very technical with a few ladders, tight turning trail circumnavigating the very warm lake, great swimming and paddling or picnicking. Trail is still under construction and 2/3 loop is completed. The other side of the lake follows an old railbed and another section of trail
Head west at Duncan toward and through Lake Cowichan, proceed 2 km past LC and turn right into Beaver Lake campground. There is parking at the gate. Proceed to the left of the office/lodge along a small gravel path near the woodpile to find the trailhead.
