Meatgrinder has been around for a while, but not many people ride it because it is a first generation stunt trail. The original stunts featured some good skinnies, but no transitions, and nothing lined up properly. Significant work is being done on this trail, because the terrain is fantastic. It is still a fun ride.. just don't ride the weathered wood, it may fall apart under your tires. Plans are to remove the shaky stuff, but it takes time.

Directions:

Go past the mill at Canoe, a few km past turn right off the Highway on the 101 forestry road. Drive with headlights on and use caution, there may be logging trucks. Keep switchbacking on the main road until you reach 9 km, there will be a little rock cairn on the right side of the road. For more detailed directions check in at Skookum bike shop.

Great steep terrain. Downside A lot of the wood stuff is falling apart/sketchy. Comment A great ride with steep, bumpy sections, challenging roots up top and nice flowing berms and jumps near the bottom.

Note: the signs marking the trail rate it as a double black diamond.
