Elevation Gain: ~417 m (1,367 ft).

The hike is 3.5 km with 417 M height gain. Note this road is closed to vehicles between December 1st and May 15th.

This is a great hike up Jumpingpound Mountain with 360 degree views of Moose Mountain and Calgary to the east and the Fisher Range to the west.

Directions:

Park at the trail head sign (N50 56.339 W114 56.093) on the Powderface Trail. Which can be accessed from either highway 68 or 66

Accessing this trail requires driving on a garvel road
Comment This is a good hike that is accessible for most of the year owing to low snowfall. This is definitley worth it.

Nice fairly easy trail, kids 3, 5, 7 years were able to make it to the top (N50 57.042 W114 54.448) elevation 2244m Downside Watch for mountain bikers Comment Thanks for the GPS coordinates for parking.
