Located in the heart of Cypress Provincial Park and only 30 minutes from the heart of downtown Vancouver the mountain is right at the city's door step.With unparalleled terrain and the largest vertical rise on the North Shore , Cypress Mountain is Vancouver 's premier winter playground.

Cypress Mountain now boasts three quad chairs and two double chairs, including the Eagle Express high speed detachable quad, and Easy Rider quad designed specifically for beginners and a magic carpet for our Kids camp. Spectacular views of downtown Vancouver , English Bay , Georgia Strait and Howe Sound are yours to enjoy from 38 downhill runs, both day and night.

A brand new rental fleet for the 2005/2006 season will allow you to enjoy the latest equipment available for rent and professional instruction from one of Western Canada 's most respected Ski and Snowboard Schools . For Apr├Ęs Ski relax in Growlies Bar & Grill or enjoy our sun deck and full service cafeteria. NEW for 2005/2006 Season we are relocating our Power Park to the Midway Chair! This new location will allow for more than double the space and you will be able to loop the Power Park on the Midway Chair Lift all day long! We are also going to build a boarder cross track in the new area. Over the next few months we will be re grading the area under midway so stay tuned for photos and updates as we get closer to the Season.

With a whole new fleet of rails and boxes already for the snow, expect more time sliding and grinding in the park. 8 new rails and 6 new boxes ranging from beginner to advanced, of all shapes and sizes, including our new huge wall ride. Exciting changes are in the near future for the mountain. Cypress Mountain will be hosting both Snowboard (Halfpipe and Parallel Giant Slalom) and Freestyle Skiing (Moguls and Aerials) competitions for 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Over the next 3 years facilities are scheduled to be under construction in preparation. The Free Style Skiing venues are being built in conjunction with a new high-speed quad chair coming soon in the next few seasons. This promises to make the ride up the east face of Black Mountain as memorable as the ride down. Loading will be fast and easy, allowing riders to sit back relax and enjoy panoramic views of Vancouver , Howe Sound and the Coastal Mountains .

Meanwhile, the Snowboarding venues on the Eagle Express terrain will provide improved grading of runs and create an Olympic-rated Super Pipe within sight of the Base Area. A new daylodge, a snowmaking system, upgraded parking areas and an athletes centre in the Cross Country area are all also part of the drive to prepare for 2010. With Winter Skiing & Riding, Cross Country Skiing, Snowtubing, Snowshoeing Tours and our NEW Summer Lift Accessed Mountain Bike Park, Cypress truly offers something for everyone!
