Awesome trail well established extremely steep and extremely difficult, "Definitely NOT FOR BEGINNERS".
About 1.6 KM each way and you drop about 100 m in elevation. Wicked drops with tight turns. "Oh Mama' is redone and Rocs!. Awesome ladders and bridges.
N.E. end of Abbotsford.
Find McKee Rd and head towards Ledgeview Golf Course, just before Ledgeview on the left side of the road,(North), there is a small pull out big enough for maybe two or three vehicles to park alongside of the road.
The trail heads north and begins to drop immediately. when you get to the pipeline Right of Way head across on a slight right angle, (Bearing 75 degrees almost due east), the trail picks up again on the other side of the right of way about 50 meters.

UpsideA new raised cedar ladder quite long takes you up ,after the pedal2DaMetal platform drop to double dj's. You can either roll off this or huck it. Then a couple of choices ahead keep the fun coming. Pinkbike.com has a couple of vids of the Oakley showing the latest work . DownsideAlways will have a real steeep section which if your not a seasoned rider could cause you problems. Most love this close trail to finish off the day at Clayburn village. CommentWork will continue on this old trail, where true to it's name a $200 plus pair of Oakleys reside on the ground somewhere? mr.G

UpsideA new dj line going into a operating table to more dj's to a " hail Mary " jump over a vine maple" is the newest addition. Note the old xc line is still ok. DownsideA new subdivision has at least three different ,very young for now " new builders" a lot of damage, with trees cut all over and nails nailed into whatever,garbage... It's finally stopped ,lets hope these young guns, move on. The Oakley has also a big natural jump ,just after "choose your poison" to the R. and a new tettertotter,to drop at the end called the Todo. CommentFrom Mckee road into the LO a new section gives some quick turns to the new bridge ,over the creek ,past the natural gas right away into the bush. go R and up the old way just redone ,and down back onto this trail. A new cedar bridge takes you deep into the O. A new skinny takes you out off the bridge, (this was made to discourage motorcycles) it seems to be working. g

Upsideclose to town, lots of different size obstacles. Very pretty and now the most recent addition A wallride/stepup combo with a kicker to enter it. size of wallride approx. 21ft long x10ft high. Steep in places with a area of stunts to play with, "dogs breakfast " features two good size drops besides a wall ridestepup. Exit now also has a elevated(only two feet off ground)cedar section, keeping you out of the wet area. More love coming on this trail. Downsideshort, but great ender , to return home. CommentLost Oakley is one of those trails which is very scenic with more ferns and greenery than most. Sweet way to end the day unless you are to ride the Soft Taco. Don't even think about the taco if it is wet or raining.
