Eagle Hill - Hike number 337 in Gillaen Daeffern's Kananasksis Country trail guide volume 2.
There are multiple marked trails that can be used to access Eagle Hill trail. We started by doing the Deer Ridge trail to the junction of the cut line and Eagle hill Trail Junction, on the return we used the Sibbald flats trail to avoid low wet section of the marked Eagle hill trail.
Trail goes up and down, it's only 250 meters up but you do it several times so total elevation gain for the day was 700 meters.
Top of Eagle Hill has great mountain views to the west towards the trans Canada Highway.
On the way up there are views of Moose mountain and Cox hill.
It's not a difficult hike but snow also clears earlier than higher elevation trails
GPS data is for access via Deer Ridge trail or Sibbald Flats
Sibbald Creek Trail (HWY 68) turn off to Sibbald lake campground,at 3 way junction keep left into day use parking area. There are trail head signs in the area.

UpsideAn easy forest trail that leads you to an outstanding view at the top of Eagle Hill. DownsideIt is a long slog through the trees to the hill. On the way back, it can seem even longer. CommentAn excellent choice for an April or October outing as this is in a low snowfall area. Eagle Hill is the hilight of the trip. This is not an exciting mountain hike, but rather a very enjoyable foothills hike.
