Full Boar is the first freeride trail on the BLMBA crown land pilot project. That makes it the first downhill and freeride specific trail on Boer Mountain. The trail is roughly 4.5kms from the very peak of Boer Mountain to the Kager Lake parking lot. It is fully shuttle accessible by the Boer Mt Road (Forest Service Road). The upper section has very steep sections with exposed rock faces and some wooden structures and stunts. The lower section of Full Boar (aka Half Boar) is less steep and offers excellent flow in speed, cornering and stunts. Step ups, skinnies, teeters, drops, wallrides, gaps, jumps, and a ride over an old honda civic all add to the flow and progression on this trail.
From Burns Lake town center, go north on 8th Avenue to the very top of the hill on 8th. Then turn right on 9th Ave and take the very next left on Gowan Rd. Turn left on Boer Mt Road, and follow to the very top of the mountain. The trailhead is beside the lookout building above the parking lot. Don't forget to stop and check out the trail maps at the Burns Lake Mountain Bike Park parking lot Kiosk.
