You will explore Lake Gardner that will flow into the Pow Wow River. You will see

Battis Farm and Camp Kent as you weave your way through Amesbury and New

Hampshire. Many types of birds will come and meet you, and you will meet the

Great Blue Heron.

Bring a lunch to eat during the trip. Actual duration of trip may be shorter or

longer than what is noted above.

Dry suits or wetsuits are highly recommended.

Life vests must be worn at all times while paddling.

Directions:

Notes: From 495, take exit 54 (Rt 150) onto Rt. 150 Extension toward

Amesbury. Drive for 1.1 miles until Rt. 150 becomes Greenleaf St. After .2 mile,

turn right onto Friend St. Turn left onto Whitehall Rd., then right onto High St. for

.4 mile. Access is on the right.
