User footprint

This 16-mile network of trails is a busy place in winter - loved by cross-country skiers and snowshoers. It's equally fun the rest of the year for hiking and mountain biking. You can select a short, easy loop or go wild and plan an all-day rugged adventure.

A map and description of all the trail options available can be found in the guidebooks "Take A Hike - Family Walks in New York's Finger Lakes Region," "Take Your Bike - Family Rides in New York's Finger Lakes Region," and "Snow Trails - Cross-country Ski & Snowshoe in Central & Western New York," all available through EMS.

Directions:

From Ithaca, head east on Route 13. Pass Yellow Barn Hill Road, and turn south on Irish Settlement Road. Turn left on Hammond Hill Road and follow it to the end.
