This rugged loop encircles Fall Creek on the outskirts of Ithaca. At times you walk along the creek shore, other times you're high above it at a cliff edge. Most of the time you're in a dense woods but there are a few short road walk sections to complete the 6.5-mile loop.
A map and trail description for this hike can be found in the guidebook "Take A Hike - Family Walks in New York's Finger Lakes Region" available through EMS.
From Route 366 (west of the junction with Route 13) turn north on Monkey Run Road. Park at the end of the road.
