At the top of the first steep section a newly constructed home is visible through the trees to the west. The trail wind through another relatively flat section to the second steep part with a wooden staircase. By sturkelPosted By: sturkel  - Sun Apr 12 23:19:41 UTC 2009 Not Rated Upside Beautiful hike and the view from the top is breath taking with some scattered viewing along the way. Also, on the way back the down hill walking is always fun. Downside uphill in the beginning of the hike is strenuous and difficult. I went into this hike not having run or hiked or done anything physical for about a month or two and in the beginning i was having trouble. It gets much better as you get used to it. Comment Over all a great hike. The uphill bits might qualify it as moderate-difficult on a strictly fitness level. Actually maneuvering over the terrain is not very difficult at all.
