A quiet water paddle around a well populated lake. You'll see some of the largest lake houses you've ever seen as well as some of the most modest campsites. Lots of roaring motor boat traffic in the summer towing everything from couch size inflatables to talented water skiers. Best to keep to the shore if in a canoe or kayak.
The state boat launch at the Southern end of the lake has enough concrete and asphalt to qualify as a world wonder. Plenty of parking as well as separate parking for the public beach next to the boat ramp. The ramp is on Rt. 354 just West of the Rt. 82 intersection.
