Bonnie says this is her favorite paddle in the state. Not sure why, and I'm sure I have others I prefer, but it is a nice leisurely shoreline paddle, typical of many that we do in our home state. The paddle around this L shaped lake is just under 5 miles. Most of the shoreline is populated and there are several association type beaches. There's plenty of power boating which is why I usually think of it as a shoreline paddle. There is a time period on Sundays when power boats are banned but I forget the hours. The ramp is a state one and is located on the Southeast tip of the lake. There's at least one Pub type restaurant where you can pull up in your kayak or canoe, have a meal and a drink and continue on your way. Never tried it so I can't make a recommendation.
At the intersection of RT. 31 and RT. 275 in Coventry, the road to the SouthWest is called Lake. Follow Lake for only 0.5 miles and the ramp will be on the right. Go slow as the parking lot is not visible from the road and you can shoot right by it if you aren't paying attention.
