Massasoit State Park is a unique park located near the coast on the south shore of Eastern Massachussetts. The park is about 1500 acres and features 15 miles of trails, both single and doubletrack. The park is fairly compact, so you can feel free to explore all the trails without getting too lost. Besides the trails that are great for mountain biking, hiking or snowshoeing the park also has 120 campsites.
To get to Massasoit take exit 6 off 495 onto rt 44. You will approach a rotary; from there take rt 18 south. After about 1/2 mile take a right at the sign for East Taunton, you will then see the sign for the park on your right after 2.2 miles.
