Maps of the trails around Walden Pond are available at the park office or parking entrance. One of the most popular trails is the 1.8 mile Pond Path, paths to Thoreau's cabin, and loops that run into additional conservation land in Lincoln, MA and Concord, MA. For additional information check the Mass. DCR website or call the park supervisor at 978-369-3254.
Walden is located in Concord, MA at the intersection of MA 126 and MA 2. There is a parking fee from May through October with a limit of 350 cars. Avoid parking on the state highway, cars will be towed.

Dont know if i am doing this right but am very interested to know if there is anyone who knows how i could go about renting or borrowing some snow shoes and or skis for me and a friend to experience a day at Walden in late Feb. We have never done either but are both very interested. thank you.ANSWERS are in this forum: love Walden in the summer but want to snow shoe/xcountry it also
