5000 plus acres of pines, oaks, blueberry bushes and low lying ground cover are laced with about 40 miles of fire roads and double track and single track trails. It is a good place for novice riders since it’s flat and fairly smooth as well as for accomplished riders who will find its long rolling fire roads and trails fun. This ride can be done in all four seasons, but we prefer summer or fall.

Directions:

Take the ferry from Falmouth, Mass (Island Queen to Martha’s Vineyard) or take the ferry from Woods Hole then arrive at Vineyard haven and travel 3.5 miles to trail head. For more detailed directions and maps see the ticket information area @ Vineyard haven.
