This state forest is a preserve that sits on one thousand acres. 180 acres are wetlands which include swamps and ponds. Throughout the forest you will find 6 miles of trails suitable for many activities depending on the season. You can enjoy hiking, biking or skiing the trails. It’s a nice quick getaway for those living north of Boston.
Take US route 3 north to MA 113 in Tyngsboro. You will head east on 113 for about 3 miles to Trotting Park Rd. Follow the signs for the state forest to the entrance.
