Blackcomb Backcounty Area. Once you are in the out of bounds area you are in Garibaldi Provincial Park. From this area you can see many bowls that you can ski. You can ski towards Spearhead Glacier, or towards Blackcomb Mountain.

We skied out of the ski area, and towards Blackcomb Peak.

There is GPS data attached to this trail (see "download GPS"), which if loaded into your GPS can help you find route points.

Directions:

Go to the top of Blackcomb Mountain to the top of Showcase T-bar. Head out towards Blackcomb Glacier and stay along the ridge until you go out of bounds. This is where you Skin Up. (Skin Up waypoint).

From here we traversed the ridge until we got to the saddle. (SDLE waypoint) From here we skied down and headed toward the North Facing Bowl to yoyo (005 waypoint). We left the backcountry area by skiing down Body Bag Gully to 7th Heaven area.
