Twisty Trails with good views of Guelph lake. Mild climbing, trails are marked.
Parking at Riverside park and following the wide community trail north gives you a good warm up and on the way back take the single track that runs beside the Speed River. This is rocky technical trail. Once you cross Victoria road you can head to the dam or go right into the single track. This is a fun trail and not too difficult. It can get busy.
You can park 1.5 km north of Woodlawn Rd and head right into the single track or park at Riverside Park and use the community trail to add some kms.

UpsideThis is a very pleasant, non-technical trail that was built for mountain bikes by mountain bikers. The original creator did a great job of making the twists and turns suitable for biking. If you want to make it more difficult, just ramp up your speed. I like taking novice riders on this trail as almost anyone can ride it without fear. DownsideIf you are on a bike, expect to meet walkers with dogs (mostly very well behaved). CommentBest time to go is early in the morning when you will have the trail to yourself. If you are from Guelph, you can catch this trail from central Guelph, with only a few road crossings.
