Though I haven't been there in a yr or 2 I found it on the technical side for riding. but fun if you are a reasonable rider. there are a few trails that are pretty basic also. great for hiking. good views off the power lines. Not a heavily traveld park so if you want to try something new or just go to a quiet place this is it!!!
From middletown Rt 9 get off at Rt 82 and head east. cross East Haddam bridge, continue on 82. at Hadlyme 4 corners take left (keeping on 82) Take right at Gungy Rd. (just before Rt 11, Ice Cream shop there on the right) at fork bare right, turn left then a quick right to stay on Gungy Rd. park is about 2 miles down on left.
From hartford take Rt 2- Rt11 take rt11 to the end. bare right and the a quick left (little Ice cream shop there)
Bear right at fork. take next left and then a quick right onto Gungy Rd. park is about 2 miles down on left.
From East Lyme and East... get on Boston Post Rd in Old lyme .. Take a right at grassy hill RD.. continue on
Grassy hill to stop sign. (few miles) go straight onto Gungy Rd.. Park is on right about 4-5 Miles up.
From Old Saybrook and South West... Rt 95 to exit 70, turn left onto rt 156. continue straight through lights.. continue on Rt 156 (about 5 miles) to Beaver Brook Rd and turn right. stay on beaver brook Road to the 4 way Stop Sign. Turn left onto Gungy Rd.
