Chikamin Ridge is in the Wenatchee National Forest. This particular ride consists of an easy logging road climb up, then you enter the single track which is very narrow and twisty with lots of ups and downs.
These trails were created by motorcycles and they still use the area. The views are spectacular and you can make any kind of XC epic your legs desire! There are countless recreational trails here. See the U.S. Forest Service for detailed maps.
Off Hwy 2 before Leavenworth, take Exit 207 to Lake Wenatchee. We camped at the State Campground. From the Campground go onto Hwy 62 and drive to any of the trailheads. You can park farther from the climb along Lower Chiwawa if you want to make the ride longer. This trails doesn't gain any elevation, but you do a lot of small climbs and descents.
