The Frederick Road side trails are great for the hiker/mountain biker who wants to see a bit of wildlife. Black bear, California bighorn sheep and mule deer are frequently seen. These roads can be explored for hours on foot and by bike. There's spectacular Ponderosa pine forest and dry sage grasslands all under a mountain range called the Dewdrop. Its a MUST SEE area for the Kamloops explorer.
Take Tranquille Road past the Kamloops airport and golf course. Enter the Lac Du Bois Grasslands Provincial Park to Criss Creek Road, and then go left onto Frederick Road. This road is approx 8 km long and ends at Kamloops Lake.

QuestionAre there any specific trails to take? I know around Frederick theres some leading to dewdrop and one leading to the bluffs, and other roads look like they might not go anywhere? Or are the trails down closer to the lake??ANSWERS are in this forum: Where?
