The GPS file shows the first attempt in 2010 when extreme snowfalls prevented us from completing the trek. The 2011 files show the 2nd part of the trek, starting at a location called "sortie d'urgence" (emergency exit!). Typical days are 15 to 20kms. Climbing skins are a must. Depending on snow conditions, plan on covering 2 to 4 km per hour.
